Stepping on the sandy land of Kappad Beach evokes mental faculties of the tourist who try to imagine how would it have looked to watch Vasco Da Gama land centuries ago on this very land, in the May of 1498, with 170 men in three vessels. The stunning beach is adorned with a host of rocks protruding into the sea. The tourists find it as a refreshing haven from the hectic day-to-day life.
