Destination: Trivandrum – Alleppey – Thekkady – Munnar – Cochin – Ooty – Coimbatore
Day 01: Trivandrum
Arrive at Trivandrum airport / railway station to be warmly escorted to the hotel for check in. After resting for some time, go for sightseeing at Trivandrum including Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Palace and Veli Lagoon.
Enjoy a good night sleep at the hotel.
Day 02: Alleppey
In the morning, drive to Alleppey to check into a traditional houseboat of Kerala. Enjoy a 24-hour houseboat cruise through the beautiful sceneries constituted by the tranquil backwaters in combination with coconut lagoons, green trees, villages and paddy fields along the backwaters.
Overnight stay at the houseboat for an integral feel of Kerala.
Day 03:
Thekkady
Disembark to leave
for Thekkady, famous for Periyar Wildlife
Sanctuary cum tiger reserve, for a
check in. After check in, set out
for a visit to the Sanctuary to catch
a glimpse of the abundant wildlife
in their natural habitat. In the evening,
enjoy a motorboat ride on the lake
formed by river Periyar and watch
wild animals of the Sanctuary at close
quarters.
Relish dinner and
overnight stay at Resort.
Day 04:
Munnar
After taking breakfast,
leave for Munnar – the beautiful
hill station of Kerala full of fresh
and fragrant tea plantations and other
natural panoramic sceneries in its
lap. The 3 and a half hour drive will
be en route covering picturesque locales
and waterfalls. In the afternoon,
enjoy a leisurely walk in the vicinity
covering Mattupetty, Indo Swiss Cattle
Project as well as visit Rajamali
and Eravikuloam National park. Overnight
stay at resort.
Day 05:
Cochin
In the morning depart
to Cochin for sightseeing to cover
Chinese Fishing Nets, Jewish Synagogue,
Mattancherry Palace and so on. Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 06 : Ooty
In the morning, drive to Ooty hill station, famous for its tea estates and panoramic beauty. In the afternoon visit the Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a boat ride in the evening on the lake. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Ooty
Pay a visit to the Dolphin’s Nose and Lamb’s Rock view point. Enjoy the beautiful locales of Ooty rest of the day on your own. Overnight stay at hotel at Ooty.
Day 08 : Coimbatore
At 8:00 am in the morning, transfter to railway station for toy train to Mettupalayam. This four hour journey is the best way to explore Nilgiri mountains. On arrival at Mettupalayam, drive to Coimbatore. Overnight stay at Coimbatore.
Day 09 : Departure
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Airport or Railway Station for onward journey.
