Kovalam Beach is a superlative beach of India situated nearest to the capital city of Kerala, just 16 km from Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram. The beach is enumerated amongst the world’s best beaches; it lies on the Malabar Coast along the 600km long Kerala shoreline. The effervescent beach is laced with groves of coconut trees on the seashore treating tourists with relaxing gentle wind under the charming sunshine, the sea as if whispering in the ears in conspiracy with the soft warm sand beneath the feet to render you a therapy to retreat you from the tensions and lethargy of your busy and hectic life.

Kovalam beach is an impressive conjunction of three adjacent crescents or beaches, comprising of Lighthouse Beach on the southern most part, Hawah or Eve’s Beach in the middle and Samudra in the northern most section of the beach. The Samudra beach seems absolutely unaffected with flow of time and is still dotted with the traditional fishing boats. The Beach complex has cottages, Ayurvedic Health Resorts, convention facilities, shopping zones, swimming pools, water sports facilities, Ayurvedic massage parlours and yoga centers to leave you invigorated.
